Zimplats Solar PV Plant — Phase 1A
Zimbabwe’s largest solar plant at time of completion. ASMASOL provided Owner’s Engineer and commissioning oversight services. Commissioned July 2024 and officially opened by the President of Zimbabwe in July 2025.
Zimplats Solar PV Plant — Phase 2A
Owner’s Engineer and EPC oversight for Phase 2A expansion. Multi-party coordination with Shenxin, HDEC and Sinohydro. Full design review and construction quality assurance.
Confidential Client — 50MW Solar
Owner’s Engineer services for a 50MW utility-scale solar development project commenced Q3 2025. Client details under NDA.
Confidential Client — 5MWac + BESS
Owner’s Engineer for a solar-plus-battery-storage project combining 5MWac generation with a Battery Energy Storage System. Client details under NDA.
⚡ Industrial Automation & IIoT
Mupane Gold Mine — Shashe Pump Station
First ASMASOL IIoT deployment. Remote automation of pump station located 60km from plant. Full start/stop, monitoring and alert system via MQTT. Operational since December 2018.
Anglo-Unki Mines — IoT Flowmeters
13 remote Krohne flowmeters connected to ASMASOL IIoT platform. Live dashboard, automated email reports to management. Full project delivered.
Freda Rebecca Gold Mine — Automation
Multiple projects spanning mill feed optimisation, CCTV, IIoT pump station, plant process automation, belt scale calibration and auto sampler installation.
Canterbury Gold Mine — Plant Dashboard
IoT plant dashboard at Central Control Room. Mill feed remote reporting package connecting belt scales to management dashboards.
BW Water Utilities — Pump Station
IoT-based pump station automation and planned maintenance system for Botswana water utility.
